The FReSMe project is extended until June 2021

Eight additional months to guarantee a successful test campaign

The FRESME project was expected to finish in October 2020 however the COVID-19 and the associated measures set in place to combat the pandemic globally had a relevant impact in the project plan. The consortium has been forced to reschedule some project activities, mainly those related to the test campaigns and an extension of eight months has been accepted by the European Commission. The test campaigns will finish in December 2020 and the decommission of the plant, the collection of data obtained from the test campaigns, analysis and evaluation of results and final end use demonstration will take place in 2021.

The FReSMe partners have shown a strong commitment to conclude a successful test campaign before the end of the year if the situation allows it, and will cooperate in the most flexible manner to guarantee a successful demonstration of the technology.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 727504.
