XIII Conference of the Italian LCA Network

Rome – Italy , 13th and 14th of June, 2019

The XIII Conference of the Italian LCA Network was held on the 13th and 14th of June 2019, in Rome – Italy. The conference was focused on the application of Life Cycle Thinking (LCT) methodologies to support climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. During the two days, a lot of studies concerning the application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and Social LCA methodologies in the fields of energy, circular economy and construction were presented. The most recent improvements in the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) method developed by the Joint Research Center (JRC) were also introduced on the first day.

In this occasion, the LCA study performed within the FReSMe project was selected for a poster presentation. The poster summarized the preliminary LCA focusing on the first phase of the assessment with particular attention on the different aims analyzed, the related Functional Units (FU) chosen and the scenarios considered.
